Jinju City will host summer events this August, including festivals, night markets, and outdoor movie screenings to help residents and visitors escape the heat.
The 2024 Jinju M2 Festival on August 9-10 will feature performances, food zones, and a DJ EDM party along the Namgang riverside. The “Olbbam Saturday Night Market” reopened on August 3 at Nongae Market Arcade, offering food, cultural activities, and beer coupons for early shoppers.
On August 23, the “Moonlight Film Festival & Night Market” at Jinju Sports Complex will screen Agent Backkom: Saving the Super Chip. The “River Night Jinju Candlelight Concert” on August 22 at Railroad Culture Park will feature Disney classics performed by the Laon Trio.
Jinju aims to establish itself as a hub for nighttime cultural tourism.
