Seoul City will operate six outdoor pools and water playgrounds along the Han River from June 20 (Thursday) to August 18 (Sunday). Mangwon and Gwangnaru pools will not be open this year due to ongoing construction.
Key Updates:
- Jamsil Water Playground: Reopened as a year-round natural water playground, spanning 28,000㎡.
- Water Quality Management: New LED display boards showing real-time water quality, including E. coli, disinfectant levels, and turbidity.
- Safety Measures: 62 lifeguards on duty, equipped with AEDs and emergency supplies.
- Pricing Policy: Preventing price gouging, with increased penalties for violations.
Admission Fees:
- Pools: 3,000 KRW for children, 4,000 KRW for teens, 5,000 KRW for adults.
- Water Playgrounds: 1,000 KRW for children, 2,000 KRW for teens, 3,000 KRW for adults.
- Discounts: 50% off for Happy Family Card holders, seniors over 65, and registered disabled individuals with one guardian.
Seoul City will host a pre-opening event at Jamsil Water Playground on June 19 from 3 PM to 6 PM, inviting 300 children from local community centers.
Additional Information:
- Operations will be suspended in adverse weather conditions.
Concessions and snack bars will operate at prices comparable to local convenience stores.
