The 2024 Jeonju Cultural Heritage Night Tour will be held from Friday, May 31 to Saturday, June 1, featuring a journey through Jeonju’s historic landmarks. With the theme “All Together Jeonju-marble!”, this event offers a unique opportunity to experience history and culture through various engaging programs.
Main Programs
- Masters of Light: A spectacular light show with twelve moons illuminating the night sky, light displays at Jeolla Gamyeong and Hanok Village, and cultural heritage cinema.
- Masters of Heritage: A quest to find the lost Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, the historical board game Jeonju-marble, a grand parade with citizens and artists, and a historical quiz game.
- Masters of Storytelling: Stories of Jeolla Gamyeong, tales of Jeonju’s 500-year history, and traditional games paired with Joseon-era board games.
- Masters of Painting: Personalized Joseon-style portraits, hands-on kit experiences, and a blacklight graffiti wall.
- Masters of Performance: A special concert by local artists, traditional instrument performances by solo musicians, and mascot events.
- Masters of Food: Experience making traditional snacks, and a floral tea tasting event.
- Masters of Travel: A healing camping experience at cultural heritage sites, and guided tours of the Hanok Village alleyways.
- Masters of Market: A youth flea market with various activities, and sales of specially developed souvenirs.
