In 1967, Father Ji Jeong-hwan began with two goats in the rural village of Imsil, collaborating with local youths to create Korea’s first cheese. The ImsilN Cheese Festival commemorates this legacy at the Imsil Cheese Theme Park, offering a range of programs that utilize cultural, historical, and tourism resources to promote the value of ImsilN Cheese and Father Ji’s pioneering spirit.

  • National Rice Pizza Meal Kit Cooking Class: This core program of the ImsilN Cheese Festival allows participants to experience cooking with cheese both online and offline. Learn to make rice pizza meal kits with a chef and discover how to easily cook them at home.
  • ImsilN Cheese Eclo Parade: A parade featuring cheese-themed floats and cheese artisans, highlighting the historical significance of cheese in Imsil. Visitors can join the parade.
