Opening Film ‘Delicious Movie’ Among 10 Screenings, Tickets on Sale from June 18

Hosted by the city of Busan, the 2024 Busan Food Film Festa (BFFF) will take place from June 28 to 30 at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu. This year’s theme is “Rice – Daily Life and Escapades,” featuring a variety of programs and events.

Opening Film

The opening film, ‘Delicious Movie,’ directed by three filmmakers, will premiere on June 28 at 7 PM. This omnibus film highlights characters finding vitality in life through food.

Film Sections

  • Rice: Daily Life: Films like ‘Three Days’ Vacation’ and ‘Twelve Months, Eating Soil’ that explore everyday stories about rice.
  • Rice: Escapades: Films showcasing rice in unique roles, including ‘Chihwaseon Remastering’ and ‘Off the Menu.’
  • BFFF Choice Movie Dining: Featuring the latest food films such as ‘French Soup’ by Tran Anh Hung, ‘Italian Chefs,’ ‘The House of No Man,’ and ‘Coming Home Again’ by Wayne Wang.

  • Cook! Talk!: Pre-film discussions with BFFF programmers about the food featured in the movies.
  • Food Terrace: A culinary program where attendees can taste and discuss the rice-themed foods from the films.
