International Ballet Stars Unite for Seongnam Cultural Foundation’s ‘2024 Ballet Stars’ Performance

The Seongnam Cultural Foundation will host the ‘2024 Ballet Stars’ gala performance on July 13 at the Seongnam Arts Center Opera House. Now in its fifth year, this event will feature a variety of classic, contemporary, and original ballet pieces in one spectacular show.

Performance Details

Audiences can enjoy 12 ballet performances, including masterpieces like ‘The Nutcracker’ and ‘The Dying Swan,’ as well as contemporary and original works such as ‘Ballet 102’ and ‘The Wind.’ The performance will feature 20 renowned ballet stars from seven different ballet companies, including:

  • Se Eun Lee (Principal, English National Ballet)
  • Yea Eun Lee and Junsu Lee (Paris Opera Ballet)
  • Hye Ji Kang and Martin Nudo (Finnish National Ballet)
  • Jae Eun Jung and Ryota Kitai (Polish National Ballet)
  • Riccardo Castellano and Go Youngseo (Norwegian National Ballet)

In addition, rising stars from Korea, including members of the K-Arts Ballet Company and the Kim Yong Geol Dance Theatre, will perform. Highlights include performances from ‘The Nutcracker’ and ‘Le Corsaire,’ as well as the original ballet ‘The Wind.’ Esteemed ballet artist Kim Yong Geol will serve as the artistic director, with music conducted by Kim Jong Wook and performed by the Ditto Orchestra.

  • Ticket Prices: R seats: 70,000 KRW, S seats: 50,000 KRW, A seats: 30,000 KRW, B seats: 10,000 KRW
  • Discounts: Various discounts are available for people with disabilities, veterans, and multi-child families in Seongnam.
